sweet potato bundt cake.

oh. em. eff. gee.

guys, you’ll have to forgive my absence around here lately. i have been consumed by all things-wedding related these days.

i’ve got SO many delicious recipes to share with you all for the holidays, but literally zero time to write wonderfully witty and silly stories for your reading pleasure.

this wedding is putting a serious cramp in my style. not cool, wedding. not cool.

maple bacon mini cupcakes.

oh yes, friends, i went there.

and you know what? it wasn’t my first time going there, either.

i’ve made different iterations of bacon cupcakes a handful of times in the past few years, and they’re all quite delicious. usually i make ‘em as birthday treats for boys, because as it turns out, guys really dig bacon.

these itty bitty maple bacon cupcakes are without a doubt the best version i’ve made yet. hands down!

spiced harvest pumpkin soup, plus a giveaway!

after a ridiculously hectic, demanding, chaotic and insanely stressful week, i’ve been craving some serious comfort food.

not even kidding, i think i was on the verge of a nervous breakdown this past weekend. instead of relaxing and enjoying super-fun halloween hijinks, i was holed up inside, working my face off on two gigantic school projects. fun!

i think i got a total of 6 hours of sleep from friday-monday, which is pretty horrifying. i’m a lady who needs enjoys her beauty sleep!

so now that the madness has died down and i’ve only got one day of school left before i’m off for nine glorious weeks (YES), i’m easing back into the kitchen with a simple, spicy harvest pumpkin soup.
