Food Plus Words is my little corner of the internet to share my favorite dishes with you!

I’m the voice and author behind this blog. From the young age of 7, I’ve had a love for cooking. This passion carried over to high school where I graduated at the top of my class as the best food & nutrition student.

But above all, I discovered that food helped bring everyone together. As the last of 10 children, I was the chief kitchen officer when my big sisters needed a break from the kitchen or were ill.

From traditional Nigerian dishes like jollof rice, owo soup, and puff-puff to chicken alfredo, and pad thai, no dish is beyond my reach. And my goal is to serve you tastefully tantalizing dishes that are rich in flavor.

When I’m not working as a pharmacist serving patients, styling affordable fashion finds, you’ll find me here cooking up a storm or discussing African destination travel with my twin sister.
