Bacon Cookies Recipe FAQs
Why is my dough so crumbly?
The dough for these chocolate chip bacon cookies will turn out crumbly if you use too much flour.
Do I have to pre-cook bacon?
Yes, the bacon strips should be cooked first to ensure they’ll get perfectly crispy.
Can you cook bacon on a baking sheet?
Yup. I suggest placing the bacon strips side by side on a lined baking tray and cooking them for 10 to 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 400°F. Drain the excess bacon grease on a paper towel-lined plate.

Yes. Let them cool and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Should chocolate chip and bacon cookies be frozen or refrigerated?
You can freeze the bacon and chocolate chip cookies to store them without drying them out. Transfer them to a freezer-safe container and store in the freezer for 1 to 2 months.
