Ingredient Substitutions For Cheddar Broccoli Stuffed Chicken Breast
Frozen broccoli
While we prefer fresh broccoli for this broccoli stuffed chicken recipe, you can use frozen broccoli florets if that’s what you have on hand. Just thaw and pat the broccoli florets dry; otherwise, the filling will end up runny.
Cheese
This chicken filled with broccoli and cheese is not just for cheddar cheese! You can also use Colby Jack or Swiss cheese. But to ensure your filling stays intact, I’d skip the really soft varieties.
