Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, washed
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 acai berry tea bags
- 1/2 cup boiling water for the acai tea
- 1 tsp honey to taste
- Ice for serving
Instructions
- Slice and hull the strawberries. Place them in a saucepan with water, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally and mashing the strawberries as they cook.
- Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Strain and refrigerate the strawberry acai base.
- Steep the tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes. Cool the tea to room temperature.
