Halloween Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Candy eyes for decorating
- 1 cup white chocolate chips for decorating
Instructions
- Line the baking dish with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350โ.
- Add the butter and chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted.
- In another bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the melted chocolate mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold the flour mixture into the wet ingredients to form the brownie batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownie to rest in the pan for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely, around 30 minutes, before slicing.
