- 3 lbs bone-in prime rib roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp red wine
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Kosher salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Allow the prime rib to come to room temperature for at least 1 hour before roasting.
- Preheat the oven to 500ยฐF.
- Generously season the beef rib with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- Roast the prime rib for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 325ยฐF and continue roasting for about 20 minutes per pound.
- While the prime rib cooks, combine the beef broth, red wine, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan.
