Gather the ingredients for this easy spinach artichoke dip recipe.
Place the onion, garlic, spinach, chopped artichokes, sour cream, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese in the Crockpot. Stir to combine.
Add the cream cheese on top.
Cook the spinach artichoke dip for 1 and 1/2 hour on High. Stir to incorporate the cream cheese into the mix.
Cook for 15 to 30 minutes more or until the Crockpot spinach artichoke dip is bubbly.
Serve the dip with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
- Once the frozen spinach artichoke dip is bubbly and hot all the way through, set your Crockpot to warm! Overcooking the dip can break the spinach down and make the dip watery. To fix this, cook the dip uncovered for a few minutes to allow the excess liquid to evaporate.
- If the excess liquid from the artichoke hearts or spinach made the slow cooker spinach artichoke dip watery, you can stir in more cream cheese or shredded cheese to thicken it.
- You can stir your leftover dip into freshly cooked pasta, use it as a filling for stuffed chicken breasts, or top a pre-baked pizza crust with it!
