cupcakes recipe

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 2 eggs, room temperature – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups cake flour – 1 1/2 tsp baking powder – 1/4 tsp kosher salt – 1/2 cup milk – 2 cups heavy whipping cream – Peach jam for filling – 1 peach, sliced for garnish

HOW TO MAKE:

In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Set aside. In a separate bowl, whisk cake flour, baking powder, and salt.

HOW TO MAKE:

Stir half of the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, then stir in milk and the remaining flour mixture. Mix until smooth.

Pour batter into cupcake liners, filling them halfway.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Remove the center of each cupcake and fill with peach jam.

Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and transfer to a piping bag. Pipe cream swirls on each cupcake and garnish with peach slices. Enjoy!
