pumpkin donuts

Ingredients:

HOW TO MAKE:

Whisk milk and beer in microwave-safe bowl, then microwave in 10-second intervals until 105°F.

HOW TO MAKE:

Add sugars, salt, vanilla extract, spices, egg, yolks, and pumpkin puree. Mix on medium speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

HOW TO MAKE:

Add bread and pastry flour, mix on medium-high for 4 to 6 minutes until soft, sticky dough forms.

HOW TO MAKE:

Transfer dough to buttered bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for an hour until doubled in size.

HOW TO MAKE:

Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thick, cut out donut rounds with floured cutter, arrange on baking sheets.

Bake donuts for 20 minutes, holes for 10 minutes, until light golden brown.

Melt butter in saucepan until amber brown and nutty. Transfer to bowl and let cool.
