Instructions

Steak:

  • Mix the Italian dressing, balsamic vinegar, rosemary, salt, and black pepper in a Zip Top freezer bag.
  • Place the steak in the bag and seal it tightly.
  • Let the steak rest for 30 minutes to soak up the flavors.

Balsamic glaze:

  • Pour the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer.
  • Stir often until the glaze has reduced by half.
  • Set aside to cool so the glaze can thicken.

Fettuccine Alfredo:

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Mix in the heavy cream, nutmeg, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Continue stirring and bring the sauce to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, then stir in the Gorgonzola and Parmesan cheese.
  • Once the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened, toss the al dente pasta and spinach into the sauce.

Assembling the steak gorgonzola:

  • While the sauce is cooking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the olive oil and butter to the skillet.
  • Place the marinated steak in the skillet and cook for two to three minutes per side.
  • Serve the steak over the fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce.
  • Garnish with sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic drizzle, and more Gorgonzola crumbles. Enjoy!
