These ghost cake pops won't be ghosted at your Halloween party. Fun, chocolatey, and rich, even Trick-or-Treaters will love these!

  • Put the cake crumbs into a bowl.

  • Add the cream cheese and mix until you form a dough.

  • Roll and flatten the mixture.
  • Cut out ghost shapes using a cookie cutter.
  • Insert cake pop or lollipop sticks into the ghosts.
  • Freeze the cake pops for at least an hour or until firm.
  • Dip each ghost cake pop into the melted chocolate until evenly coated.
  • Gently tap the stick against the edge of the bowl to allow the excess chocolate to drip off. Then, let the coating set for around 15 minutes.

  • Draw the eyes and mouth with a food marker.
  • Decorate with candy bows to finish. Keep the cake pops in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

  • You don’t need to put the bowl back in the microwave if most of the chocolate chips are melted. Just stir until the rest melts in.
  • While dipping the cake pops, let the chocolate cover not only the cake but also the base where the stick is inserted.
  • We created our Halloween-themed cake pop display using a glass filled with paper and leftover decorations. You could also use a Styrofoam block to hold the ghost cake pops upright as a centerpiece for your Halloween festivities!
