  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the dairy-free butter.

  • Saute the shallots and garlic in the dairy-free butter until soft and fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink.
  • Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the lemon juice, white wine, and red pepper flakes, then simmer for about 2 to 4 minutes until reduced by half.

  • Rubbery shrimp is the worst. Don’t overcrowd the pan and cook them about 2 minutes per side, until they’re pink, opaque, and curled into a C shape!
