Notes

  • Scoop in more ice cream for a thicker milkshake. But if you’re after a thinner blueberry ice cream shake that you can easily sip through a straw, use more milk.
  • No leftover pie? Whip up a quick blueberry pie filling with 1 1/2 cups of fresh blueberries, 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar over medium-high heat. Let the mixture come to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooled, you can blend it with 3 cups of ice cream and crushed Nilla wafers or graham crumbs to use as a pie crust.
  • Want to turn this into a spiked blueberry pie milkshake recipe? Just add 1/4 cup of vanilla vodka!
