Hash Brown Soup

Ingredients:

– 1 32-oz bag diced hash brown frozen potatoes – 2 14.5-oz cans chicken broth – 1 10.5-oz can condensed cream of chicken soup – 1 onion, diced – 6 tbsp salted butter – 1 cup sour cream – 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/4 tsp black pepper – Sour cream for topping – Bacon bits for topping – Green onions, chopped for topping – Shredded cheddar cheese for topping

HOW TO MAKE:

Add the frozen hash brown potatoes, broth, cream of chicken soup, onions, and butter. Allow everything to heat up until the butter melts.

Let the hash brown soup simmer for 20 minutes, stirring regularly until the potatoes are soft when pierced with a fork.

Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the sour cream, cheese, and seasonings until combined.
