  • Gather the ingredients for your baked sushi.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Shred the imitation crab over a bowl, then add the softened cream cheese, Kewpie mayo, and sriracha. Mix everything and set aside.

  • Toss the sushi rice with rice vinegar. Transfer and flatten evenly at the bottom of the baking dish.

  • Press the rice layer down, then top it with half of the furikake seasoning. Add the crab mixture and sprinkle the remaining furikake seasoning.

  • Drizzle the sushi bake with more Kewpie mayo and sriracha.

Notes

  • To shred your crab sticks, roll each imitation crab between your hands, then pull the strands apart. You can also just run them through a food processor if you're making this TikTok sushi bake recipe for a crowd.
  • Fold the vinegar into the sushi rice while it's still hot so it absorbs better. If you're using leftover sushi rice, warm it up before mixing in the vinegar.
  • Use a fan to cool the rice while mixing it. Once cooled, press the rice firmly into the bottom of the baking dish. This will help the sushi rice layer hold its shape better.
