Instructions

  • Gather the ingredients for your strawberry peach cobbler.

COBBLER BATTER:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease the baking pan with non-stick baking spray.
  • Place the butter in the baking pan and melt it in the oven.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix until combined.

  • Pour the cobbler batter over the melted butter. Do not mix.

STRAWBERRY PEACH FILLING:

  • Combine the sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the sliced strawberries and peaches, and toss until they're evenly coated.
  • Arrange the fruits in a single layer on top of the cobbler.

  • Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • No need to stir the batter into the melted butter! They’ll mix on their own in the oven. And don’t stress about the fruit layout. Only a few pieces will peek through after baking.
  • Once the top is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges, your strawberry peach cobbler is ready. Just give it 5 to 10 minutes to cool a bit before digging in so it can set!
  • Warm, freshly baked strawberry and peach cobbler with a generous scoop of melting vanilla ice cream is simply hard to top. But if you’re out of ice cream, whipped cream is just as good. You can also add some chopped pecans for a crunchy finish!
