Instructions

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease the brownie pan with baking spray.
  • Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract in a bowl until combined.

  • Bake for 18 minutes.
  • Take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan.
  • While waiting, make the glaze. Whisk together the strawberry preserves, powdered sugar, and milk until combined.

Notes

  • Strawberry lovers, you can add a teaspoon of strawberry extract to the brownie batter for a more concentrated strawberry flavor! And if you want to skip the glaze, swirl strawberry jam through the batter and serve the sweet treats with fresh strawberries.
  • This strawberry brownies recipe can be made in an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish. To easily remove the brownies, spray the baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for lifting.
