Ingredients

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients for your Nigerian Chapman slushy.
  • Pour the lemon-lime soda and orange soda into an ice cube tray and freeze for several hours. These frozen soda cubes will help you get that slushy texture without watering down the drink's flavor.
  • In a separate pitcher, combine the chilled Fanta and Sprite.
  • Add the grenadine syrup, lemon juice, and Angostura aromatic bitters. Stir gently until everything is well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into a blender and add the frozen Fanta and Sprite cubes. Pulse until you reach your desired slushy consistency.
  • Add the cucumber slices and give it a light mix.
  • Slice the lemon into wedges and add as much as you like to the slushy. Enjoy!

Notes

  • To keep your Nigerian Chapman alcohol-free, feel free to skip the Angostura bitters!
  • Want to turn this into a Chapman cocktail drink? Make the West African drink with gin or vodka!
  • Because Nigerian Chapman drink uses carbonated drinks, it’s best not to make it too far in advance, or it may lose its fizz and go flat.
