  • Pour the milk into a small saucepan or pot and place over medium heat.

  • As it warms, stir in the turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger.

  • Let it gently simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, without bringing it to a boil.

  • Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup to taste. You can also add a splash of vanilla extract.

Notes

  • For a true golden milk latte, add a shot of espresso to your golden milk! You can also whisk the milk when you turn the heat down to make it nice and frothy.
  • Use half of the milk to make the recipe and keep the other half in the fridge to chill. When the recipe is ready, pour the warm turmeric milk into a glass with ice. Add the chilled milk on top, stir, and enjoy!
