  • Add the oil, salt, flour, yeast, warm water, and sugar to a large mixing bowl.

Notes

  • Make sure your water is around 120°F. Too hot and you could kill the yeast; too cold and the dough won’t rise properly!
  • Coat your fingers in oil so the dough doesn’t stick as you make divots.
  • The focaccia dough can be sticky, so it helps to lay out your Christmas tree design on parchment paper first to see what it will look like.
