  • Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  • Remove the plastic cover of the cheese, then return it to its wood box.
  • Score the top of the cheese in a criss-cross pattern, with the cuts about half an inch apart.

  • Insert the garlic slices into the cuts.

  • Top with fresh thyme, then drizzle with black truffle oil.

  • Place the brie with garlic and thyme on a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.

  • Once done, allow the garlic baked brie to sit for a few minutes. Serve with crackers and crostini. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Let your refrigerated brie sit out for at least 30 minutes before baking. Cold brie takes longer to bake and is more likely to become overdone.
  • Worried that your baked brie with garlic will leak through its box? You can also wrap the exterior of the box with foil!
  • Store leftover baked brie in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. To serve, reheat it in the oven at 300°F for 10 minutes or until it’s gooey again.
  • You can also prep ahead! After inserting the garlic slices into the rind, wrap the unbaked brie in plastic wrap and refrigerate it in an airtight container for 2 to 24 hours until you're ready to bake.
