Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Remove the plastic cover of the cheese, then return it to its wood box.
Score the top of the cheese in a criss-cross pattern, with the cuts about half an inch apart.
Insert the garlic slices into the cuts.
Top with fresh thyme, then drizzle with black truffle oil.
Place the brie with garlic and thyme on a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
Once done, allow the garlic baked brie to sit for a few minutes. Serve with crackers and crostini. Enjoy!
- Let your refrigerated brie sit out for at least 30 minutes before baking. Cold brie takes longer to bake and is more likely to become overdone.
- Worried that your baked brie with garlic will leak through its box? You can also wrap the exterior of the box with foil!
- Store leftover baked brie in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. To serve, reheat it in the oven at 300°F for 10 minutes or until it’s gooey again.
- You can also prep ahead! After inserting the garlic slices into the rind, wrap the unbaked brie in plastic wrap and refrigerate it in an airtight container for 2 to 24 hours until you're ready to bake.
