Peanut Butter

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup butter, room temperature – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed – 1 cup creamy peanut butter – 1 large egg, room temperature – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled – 1 tsp baking soda – 1/4 tsp kosher salt – 1/2 cup strawberry jam – Melted peanut butter for garnish – Chopped peanuts for garnish

HOW TO MAKE:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat butter until creamy, add sugars, and mix until smooth and fluffy.

Add peanut butter and mix until combined.

Beat in egg and vanilla extract.

HOW TO MAKE:

Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir, then mix with mixer to form dough.

Mix until no streaks of flour are visible.

HOW TO MAKE:

Scoop and shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls.

HOW TO MAKE:

Press fork onto dough balls to form crosshatch pattern.

HOW TO MAKE:

Add teaspoon of jam over center of each cookie.

HOW TO MAKE:

Bake cookies for 13 to 15 minutes until edges are set and slightly brown.

Drizzle with melted peanut butter and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Enjoy!
