Jam no pectin

Ingredients:

– 2 1/2 cups fresh blackberries – 1 1/4 cups granulated white sugar – 2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped – 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

HOW TO MAKE:

Place the blackberries, sugar, chopped jalapeños, and lemon juice in a stainless steel pot or saucepan over medium heat.

HOW TO MAKE:

Crush the berries and stir the ingredients as you cook to incorporate everything well. Cook until the blackberry jam reaches 220°F,

HOW TO MAKE:

Remove the hot blackberry jam from the heat and pour it into sterilized jars. Secure the jars with lids and allow them to cool to room temperature.

What to serve with it?

I’m sure even non-early risers will get out of bed ASAP once they see our breakfast charcuterie board.
