Damn Chili

Ingredients:

– 4 tbsp olive oil – 1 yellow onion, chopped – 1 bell pepper, chopped – 1 Anaheim chile pepper, chopped – 2 red jalapeno pepper, chopped – 4 garlic cloves, minced – 2 1/2 lb lean ground beef – 1 pinch garlic powder – 2 beef bouillon cubes – 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce – 12 oz light beer – 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes – 28 oz can crushed tomatoes – 12 oz can tomato paste – 1/2 cup white wine – 1 tbsp Chipotle pepper sauce – 1 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp ground black pepper – 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika – 2 tbsp chili powder – 2 tbsp ground cumin – 1 tbsp brown sugar – 1/2 tsp dried oregano – 2 1/2 tsp dried basil – 2 15-oz cans dark red kidney beans – 1 cup sour cream – 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped – 1/2 tsp ground cumin for the sour cream topping

HOW TO MAKE:

Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onion, peppers, and garlic until soft.

HOW TO MAKE:

Brown ground beef in a skillet, add garlic powder, bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, and beer.

HOW TO MAKE:

Stir in beef with peppers, add tomatoes, tomato paste, and white wine. Season.

HOW TO MAKE:

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer covered for 90 minutes, stirring occasionally.

HOW TO MAKE:

Add beans, simmer 30 minutes more.

HOW TO MAKE:

Blend sour cream, cilantro, and cumin until smooth.

Serve chili with sour cream mixture on top. Enjoy!
