BITE-SIZED

PECAN PIE

These mini pecan pies are bite-sized versions of the traditional pecan pie. They are so easy to make — a delicious addition to your Thanksgiving dessert table!

What are Mini Pecan Pies? Mini pecan pies are just what they sound like – smaller versions of the traditional pecan pie. They’re made with the same delicious mix of chopped pecans, corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, and a splash of vanilla extract, all wrapped up in a flaky pie crust.

What Does It Taste Like? These mini pecan pies strike the perfect balance between nutty and sweet.

Ingredients:

– 1 ready-to-use pie crust – ½ cup light corn syrup – 5 tbsp brown sugar – 1 and ½ tbsp unsalted butter, melted – 1 large egg – ¾ tsp vanilla extract – 1 and ¼ cups chopped pecans

How to Make:

1. Sprinkle flour over a clean countertop and then roll out the pie crust. Cut out 15 circles using a round cutter. These circles should be around 3 inches in diameter. 2. Place the liners in each well of the muffin tin.

How to Make:

3. Next, gently press each dough circle into the lined cups to create a shell. Afterward, refrigerate the tin. 4. Whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, corn syrup and vanilla extract in a bowl until well combined.

How to Make:

5. Stir in the chopped pecans. 6. Take out the muffin tin from the fridge. Next, gently spoon the pecan mixture into the chilled crusts.

How to Make:

7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the filling is firm and the crust turns golden brown.

Serve and Enjoy
