– 2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoons cornstarch – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 3/4 cup butter, softened at room temperature – 3/4 cup brown sugar – 1/2 cup white sugar – 2 eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 lb bacon, crisped and chopped – 2 cups mini chocolate chips
1. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, and baking soda, in a small bowl. Use less cornstarch if you don’t like a fluffy cookie. 2. Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl for two minutes until creamy. 3. Stir in the eggs, salt, and vanilla in the butter mixture.
4. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix. 5. Stir in the bacon and chocolate chips. Add as much as desired. 6. Scoop out the cookie dough and arrange them on the lined cookie sheets.
7. Bake the bacon chocolate chip cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly toasted. 8. Once the chocolate chip bacon cookies are lightly golden, remove the pan from the oven and let the cookies sit on the sheets for 3 minutes
