Churro Bites Recipe FAQs
Is it okay to double this recipe for churros poppers?
Yes, and the cooking time is the same! To double this churro bite recipe, double the ingredients and use two egg bites molds. Cover each mold with foil, then stack them on top of each other in the Instant Pot.
How to keep churro bites from getting soggy?
Once you take the mold out of the Instant Pot, remove the foil cover immediately. Otherwise, condensation might drip onto the churros bites. Additionally, don’t leave them sitting in the egg bite mold for too long, or they’ll sweat.
What can you eat mini churro bites with?
You can serve these fluffy churro bites with a chocolate dipping sauce or salted caramel sauce. You can also fill them with cream cheese frosting.
How do you store leftover churros bites?
You can store these pressure cooker churro bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. I’ll eat them straight from the fridge, but you can also reheat them in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Can you freeze Instant Pot churros bites?
Yes, but you should freeze your churro bites BEFORE you roll them in cinnamon sugar. You can freeze them in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
